MNC Securities Targets 100 Thousand Young Investors

JAKARTA - PT MNC Securities targets to attract 100 thousand young investors. To realize this, the company will actively establish investment galleries in various universities in Indonesia.

President Director of PT MNC Securities, Susy Meiliana said, the presence of investment gallery in the university is very effective to attract young investors because students can obtain more in-depth information about the benefits of investing in the stock market.

"For example in Bunda Mulia University (UBM), the gallery is very active to hold investment activities and we are happy because of that," she said at UBM, Jakarta, Friday (02/10/2015).

Therefore, Susy aims to build 100 investment galleries by cooperating with various universities in Indonesia. Until now, MNC Securities has built seven investment galleries in seven universities.

"We want to attract more young investors. Probably three to five years into the future we will build 100 universities. We want to participate actively in the development of capital markets," she added.

Susy continued, MNC Securities hopes to get at least 1,000 new young investor from one university. "It depends on the university. Perhaps there could be 1,000 new investors because the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) provides it free of charge." she concluded.
