As Indonesia's leading integrated media group, PT Global Mediacom Tbk ("BMTR" or “the Company") holds the nation's largest media portfolio. The Company owns and operates FTA TV stations, numerous leading content production & distribution arms, online portals, AVOD & SVOD superapps, talent management, social media operation, gaming & e-sports, Pay TV, and fixed broadband services.

The majority of the Company's revenue comes from its two main business lines, which are advertising-based media & content managed by PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN), contributing 74% of the Company's total revenue. Meanwhile, the Company's subscription-based media managed by PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV) contributed to 22% of BMTR's revenue.

MNCN manages four (4) national FTA TV stations: RCTI, MNCTV, GTV and iNews. MNCN also has the largest content library in Indonesia with 300,000 hours of content library. IPTV has two (2) DTH Pay TV and fiber based Pay TV & fixed broadband service through MNC Vision, K-Vision, and MNC Play.

Founded on June 30, 1981, the Company was originally a conglomerate engaged in the general trading sector. After making several acquisitions and divestments, the Company shifted its business focus to the media industry. In 2007, the Company reaffirmed this new focus by rebranding itself to become PT Global Mediacom Tbk. The Company is a public company and its shares have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) since 1995, with "BMTR" as its stock code.

  • Consolidation of the digital businesses under PT MNC Digital Entertainment Tbk (MSIN).
    MSIN acquired two subsidiaries of MNCN, namely PT MNC Digital Indonesia (RCTI+) and PT MNC Portal Indonesia (online portals), as well as one subsidiary of IPTV, PT MNC OTT Network (Vision+).
  • The Company’s FTA TV operations carried out a migration process from analog to digital TV as a response of the partial Analogue Switch Off (ASO) implementation by the government through Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.

Purpose and Objectives of the Company

The Company’s Articles of Association state that its purpose and objective is to engage in the manufacturing industry, mining and quarrying, information and communication, real estate, construction, wholesale and retail trade, professional, scientific and technical activities.
