MNC Group Continues to Contribute to the Nation

JAKARTA - MNC Group continues to contribute to the nation while maintaining a focus on improving the company's performance through its core business of media, financial services, property, and investments.

CEO of MNC Group Hary Tanoesoedibjo (HT) said, in its 26^th anniversary, MNC should remain focused on quality and speed. These two things must be balanced with a high fighting spirit, discipline, hard work, and maximize synergies among the group.

"I would like to remind that we need introspection as we confront economic conditions that are not like the old days which means the company should be able to work better than others," said HT after attending the 26^th Anniversary of MNC Group at MNC Financial Center Building, Jakarta (11/2). HT also stated in the midst of a slow national economic, MNC Group in the future must to still focus on implementing its business model.

The Company through its four core businesses is asked to remain united to compete with others moreover with the increasing number of foreign companies in Indonesia. In addition to focus on business growth, HT hoped the presence of MNC Group is able to provide a positive contribution to the nation and society at large. In the media sector, the television is expected to present constructive entertainment and news. Financial services should also provide the best service for the community.

"Then broadband sector is expected to provide good service, as well as the property sector and attract foreign tourists because our properties are at the resort and lifestyle. Basically, how MNC Group can grow and at the same time contributing positively to Indonesia, "said HT. According to HT, all business units in MNC Group have grown as well. While, the business units that have not developed well according to the company target were asked to form a proper strategy.

He explained, in the economic crisis in 1998, MNC Group was able to survive because the business models and strategies were adapted to the situation at that time. HT revealed, MNC Group through its business units has set up a business development plan. For example, the company's property business unit will build a resort in Bali with lifestyle concept likewise for media, financial services, and financial investment that have their own plan and strategy.
