• CFCD Holds Indonesia SDGs Award (ISDA) 2024, MNC Group Wins Award

    JAKARTA - CFCD, a company forum with a vision to become a leading CSR network and learning center in Indonesia and internationally, is again holding the Indonesia CSR Award (ICA) and Indonesian SDGs Award (ISDA) 2024 at the Raffles Hotel, Kuningan, South Jakarta on November 28, 2024.

    CFCD General Chairperson, Ir. Thendri Supriatno, MBA said, “The company's CSR and SDGs programs are very strategic company activities in ensuring the sustainability of the company. Therefore, an appreciation event for these programs is very important to do. Appreciation for both the ICA and ISDA Award programs will be held in a series of the same events. As an appreciation given to the business world, including partner institutions of the company that have programs or activities in an effort to fulfill their social responsibilities and contribute to achieving the 2030 SDGs Goals”.

    The government through the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas) reported that the achievement of SDGs in Indonesia until 2024 was 62.5 percent of the 222 SDGs indicators that were on track. This achievement is better than the average country at the global level of 17 percent of the SDGs target that is on track, with an estimate that all SDGs targets will be achieved in 32 years if there are no transformation efforts to accelerate the achievement of these targets. One strategy to accelerate the achievement of SDGs targets is to involve the role of all parties including the role of the private sector - companies and the community.

    Prof. Dr. Hardinsyah MS as Secretary General of CFCD and Chairman of the Steering Committee of this activity stated "Through the ICA and ISDA activities every year we can see the increasing role of companies in implementing CSR and its implementation in helping to achieve SDGs targets and improving community welfare. ICA and ISDA are one of the CFCD activities, there are still many other CFCD activities that respond to the needs of members and stakeholders such as various CSR Training, Forum Meetings, CSR Evaluation and studies, CSR program consultation and assistance services, Institutional development and CSR program innovation, Publishing CSR good practice books, and CSR magazines.

    In the 2024 Indonesian SDGs Award (ISDA), among hundreds of participating companies, MNC Group through MNC Peduli won 3 award categories, The Top Corporate Leadership on SDGs, The Most Committed Corporate to SDGs on Social Pillar, The Most Committed Corporate to SDGs on Environment through 8 programs, namely:
    1. MNC Peduli Accelerates Covid-19 Recovery
    2. MNC Peduli Cares for Women and Gender Equality
    3. MNC Center for Green Environment Friendly to Interaction
    4. Clean Water & MCK in Realizing a Healthy Community Lifestyle
    5. MNC Center Waste Management for Community Welfare

    7. Stunting Prevention for a Healthy Generation, Smart Generation of the Nation's Children
    8. Children's Literacy as Basic Education for a Smart Generation

    This award is the third year, MNC Group through MNC Peduli received an award from the Indonesia SDGs Award (ISDA) in 2024, which is the largest award event for the role of companies in realizing sustainable development. Deputy Chairperson of MNC Peduli Jessica Tanoesoedibjo said that it was an honor that MNC Peduli could win the Indonesia SDGs Award (ISDA) in 2024.

    "This is a pride and honor for us, we are also grateful for the appreciation given by the organizers and the jury, that this is the third time we have received an award from ISDA. This can be a motivation for us so that in the future we can continue to carry out and improve the quality of sustainable social activity initiatives that are in line with the SDGs," explained Jessica.
