The new satellite that made by Boeing is starting to operate and serve customers of Indovision and Top TV throughout the Indonesia in mid-July 2009 with the upcoming operation for 15 years. And then it will be a challenge and passion for Indovision to get in "Leading toward 1 Million Subscribers" to the future. Brief Overview of Indovision Mediacom acquired Indovision in 2007 which exercised the 51% share ownership to Indovision. Indovision has further strengthened its position as the largest Direct To Home pay TV operator with 479,394 subscribers (including Top TV subscribers) as at year end 2008, a 57% growth to the 2007 amount of 305,372 subscribers. Indovision also leads the pay TV market with 65% share of advertising spending on pay TV as at year end 2008. Meanwhile, Indovision launched Top TV as its entry level package where Top TV subscribers have the ability to move up to premium channel lineups under the brand Indovision. We intend to increase the penetrations rates of pay TV in Indonesia by offering subscription prices that are more affordable to the wider segment of population |
