Global Mediacom Achieved Top 50 Public Listed Companies

JAKARTA - PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR) was awarded the Top 50 Public Listed Companies in CG Conference and the 7^th Award. The event held by the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directoship (IICD) themed Implementing Asean Corporate Governance Scorecard: A Road to Asean Capital Market Integration.

Corporate Secretary of PT Global Mediacom Ajun Damayanti said the award is the form of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), which has been applied to the company as well. The award was given for the company to apply the company's financial statements in a transparent and accountability.

"This award is certainly a pride for our company. The award is according to our good financial statements and completed existing regulations related to the implementation of good corporate governance," she said at the Kempinski Hotel Indonesia, Jakarta, Monday (11/16).

She hoped the company belonging to the CEO of MNC Group Hary Tanoesoedibjo can continue to apply better corporate governance.

"In the future we hope to better implement corporate governance. In the midst of an unstable economic conditions, GCG can keep the company survive in these conditions," she said.

Meanwhile, MNC Investama also won two awards at the same event as the Top 50 Public Listed Companies and The Best Improved Company.
